3ish hour session to learn, create, print and bind
$75 per person
Limited to 6 people
Workshop details
Join us for a specialized workshop where we will mix Riso printing and book binding!
In this workshop, you’ll create and print a custom cover and learn how to hand-stitch them into functional notebooks. We will go over the basics of what Riso is, where it came from, and how the machine works with all of its quirks. Then there will be time dedicated to creating, experimenting, and printing a notebook design all your own.
Everyone will make a 2 colour, 8.5x11” cover using the materials available. Experiment with shapes, textures, and patterns. Play with composition, layering colours, and try to make the most of this unique print process. Once your covers are printed, you’ll be guided with step by step instructions on how to turn them into functional notebooks!
At the end of the night, you’ll walk away with 5 different notebooks.
Available Colours:
Fluorescent Pink
Cornflower Blue
Sunflower Yellow
HD Black
